What we store
Your account (name, email), the resume content and profile you provide, the settings you choose, and the resumes, cover letters, and applications you generate or track. That's it — we don't collect browsing history or the contents of pages you visit.
How the extension works
The extension reads a job description only when you ask it to, and fills form fields only when you click Autofill. It never submits an application for you, and it only talks to your own Jobsmith account.
AI providers
To tailor resumes and write answers, relevant profile and job-description text is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, per your setting). It is used to generate your output, not to train models.
Your control
You can edit or delete your profile, generated documents, and tracked applications any time from your dashboard. Deleting your account removes your data.
